Imago Dei or “Image of God” is an I Am Whole Life project that strives to build an appreciation of the dignity of our local homeless communities. Essential items are distributed to the homeless in durable drawstring bags. The bags read the words “I am made in the Image of God.” The words are meant to remind the homeless who wear the bags, as well as everyone who reads them, of their intrinsic human dignity. Over the past year, 1200 Imago Dei bags have been given out.

Help us to promote human dignity by organizing an Imago Dei mission in your town!

Here are some simple instructions on how you can get started.

  • Order your bags online in the Whole Life store or call (818) 245-1108 to order them over the phone.
  • Gather food, clothing and other donations.
  • Get some friends to help fill the bags with items you think would be essential for someone living on the streets.
  • Go out and share the bags with the homeless in It’s that easy!
